Positive: We very much enjoyed our stay! It was exactly what we were hoping for; somewhere remote, relaxing, surrounded by nature & locals, and close to mount Ijen for a hike. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible, they made breakfast for us extra early, organised all our transport, and were always happy to give us some tips :)

Positive: We booked one week in 3 different rooms, and all of them were great. Highly recommend staying here, it is out of the city and therefore so worth it; its so calm and serene. Surrounded by rice fields. The pool apartments are spacious and even though you share it with neighbours, still feels like you have enough privacy. I read some people in the reviews saying they felt ‘watched’ by locals passing by, something I have not seen or noticed at all. The food is tasty and staff is friendly and help you out wherever they can. Drinking water is provided either in a gallon or just refill at the restaurant. The staff will even bring your food to your patio/room upon request. Its also a beautiful area to scooter around and even take hikes up the hill through small villages. We scootered to kawa Ijen which took about 45 min to 1 hour. Wifi is stable and suitable for working.

Positive: Can not recommend Pandok Is Oke enough. One of the best places we have ever stayed at on our travels. The beautiful scenery, the wonderful family, the kindness of Putri and Wisnu and also being able to connect with this power couple. The food, the atmosphere, friendly people in the area, gorgeous views of rice paddies, everything. If you are considering it for your Ijen Trip, you will regret it if you only book one or two nights.
Negative: That we didn't book for longer. There is a lot to do in the area if you are comfortable on a scooter.
